Placing an Order :

The best way to start the ordering process is by filling out the contact form on the “Contact Us” tab of our website.  This form has all the information we need to provide you with the most accurate price quote. 

Allergens:

Our products are not allergen-free; therefore, we can’t guarantee against an allergic reaction.  All our cakes are produced in a shared environment.  We also do not currently offer any gluten-free options.

Delivery:

Orders that meet a minimum requirement can be delivered.  Please contact us for delivery fees and conditions.

Changes to orders:

No changes (flavors, designs, etc.) will be allowed on specialty cake orders less than two weeks prior to orders to ensure we can provide to you the highest quality production.  If in the event a change is allowed, it may incur additional costs.  All orders are considered completely final one week prior to your event.

Order Confirmation:

For payments, you will be emailed a copy of your order form for review. Please note that it is the customer’s responsibility to review the order for any errors and let us know at least 1 week prior to the cake delivery/pick up date.

Notice Required for Orders:

We recommend you order your cake with as much notice as you can. Basic cake orders must be placed 2 weeks in advance.  All custom/specialty buttercream and/or fondant cakes will require 3-4 weeks’ notice and we can only take a certain number of specialty cakes per weekend..

Deposit and Payments:

All orders will require a 30% deposit when booking.  Your order is not considered final without a deposit.  In the event of cancellation with less than 7 days’ notice, the deposit will become non-refundable.  Final payment on orders can be paid upon pickup or drop off.

Cake Storage:

After the cake is picked up or delivered, it’s your responsibility to have a safe and appropriate spot for your cake away from unnecessary heat and humidity, which can have severely adverse effects on buttercream and fondant. Cakes can be brought to room temperature and displayed for a few hours in a climate-controlled room.

How do I Pay?

Payment are due 2 weeks before delivery.

Payment is due on the day of cleaning and after the cleaning is finished. Most of our clients leave cash or check for each cleaning on a designated table or counter.

Credit Cards | We also accept credit card payments. All credit card payments are subjected to a convenience fee.

Checks | All checks are payable to Susy Rod Bakery
